14ga to 12ga

The excitement of a stretch from 16ga to 14ga did not last long. Soon I yearned to stretch yet again; I desired to expand the miniscule holes within my lobes. This is not a decision I took lightly; oh no, with the utmost realization of importance did I further embark upon this journey.
It began like any other extraordinary day, with my boyfriend.
The love of my life was kind enough to escort me downtown with the promise of shopping. All good stories begin like this. I continue. We went downtown with only one purpose in mind – we would spend money, and we would spend it good. Being the spontaneous person that I am with absolutely no hidden agenda, we randomly found ourselves within a favorite body piercing studio of mine. How fortunate! And, as luck would have it, this particular body piercing studio just happened to have in stock two 12ga CBR's. Incredible. But I have gotten ahead of myself.
Upon walking into said studio, my boyfriend and I quietly waited to speak to the young gentleman at the desk. While waiting, I ogled the earrings on display, and my lover ogled me. Finally our turn! I spoke to the man, I said, "Excuse me kind sir, do you happen to have CBR's in your possession that would freely fit within the confines of 4ga single flared tunnels?"
You have correctly labeled me as a liar – those were not my exact words, but I guarantee that if I recalled to you this experience verbatim it would not be half as interesting. I continue.
The man looked deep into my eyes and gave me a thoughtful stare. He then procured for me not only two 12ga CBR's, but two 4ga single flared tunnels. The considerate piercer was willing to try for me different dimensions of CBR's! After deciding upon an appropriate size, I told him I was prepared to part with a portion of my wealth in exchange for his 12ga wares. He was in agreement, but alas, my boyfriend was against the arrangement. I was promptly taken outside with my man, after we informed the piercer "we'll consider it awhile".
Once outside, the love of my life asked me, "What in the heck was I doing?" and could I take a moment to just TALK to him. My haste was because of the studio's impending closure, and though he understood, he was clearly convinced I needed consulting. You see, my darling wished for nothing more than to purchase the jewelry FOR me, and was more than perturbed that I was attempting to sacrifice my own funds for the merchandise. Our silly misunderstanding thus resolved, we promptly marched back into the studio where the kind man sold us the pretty CBR hoops.
Not only did we purchase our wares – these wares were inserted into my ears while we were on the premises of the body piercing establishment! The man took me to a chair and – like an evil villain about to perform a very hygienic evil deed – he put on gloves. However, there was no sinister glare in his eye as I removed the 14ga barbells from my lobes.
Then I was approached with a dilemma: which type of stone would I like to have inserted within the clutches of the CBR hoop? I was dumbfounded. The assortment of glinting orbs was enough to dazzle me, and it was a few minutes before I could finally decide upon "garnet" (a dark dark red color of the loveliest sort). This problem solved, the procedure was able to commence.
The handsome man that had accompanied me to the studio performed his boyfriendly duties while the piercer lubed the CBR's with water-based lubricant (presumably KY jelly) and then he deftly inserted them into the formerly 14ga hole of each lobe. The procedure was effortless and possessed a marked absence of pain. I was ecstatic. After the beads were snapped in with ease, I was more than pleased with the aesthetic and physical results. As the saying goes, I was "happy as a lark".
Then I had the CBR in my anti-tragus changed to an internally threaded 16ga barbell, but that brief exchange hardly warrants notice.
I skipped home with the love of my life, happy to have continued along my journey to 4ga, to "holeness". Not only was it the 4 year anniversary of our love, it was the day I progressed from a small size to a larger size of equally small stature. But I couldn't help but feel that this small step was equal to something of a larger and grand nature – that this "one small step for [me, was a] giant leap for mankind". I had consciously distorted my body, and by doing so I have contributed to the evolution of my species.
