When A month ago
I used to think people with stretched ears were weird, but I soon took a liking to it and thought they looked really cool. There are about 10 kids or so with gauges at my school, so it's not like I'm the only one! My ex-girlfriend used to have gauges, and I'm 100% sure, but i think she had hers to 1/2in. After about a month into our relationship, she took them out. Recently, since I've had gauges, I asked her to put them in her ears,(this almost a year since she had had let them heal) and I think she could fit a 2g through. I've never had any piercing up until about three weeks ago, so when I finally decided to get my ears pierced, I decided to do it myself (I've heard it's hard to stretch from a piercing done at the mall).

So I cleaned and sanitized a 14g needle and pierced both my ears, the whole process took about a half hour. I was so nervous about it, I thought either my parents wouldn't care at all, or they'd flip out on me for piercing my own ears. I slid the needle through, and it barely hurt, I thought it would have been extremely painful. As soon as they were pierced, I put in these clear 14g pinchers I had bought at Hot Topic. After a few hours I took out the pinchers and put in 14g plugs.

After 5 days or so i went to Hot Topic and i bought 4 sets of pincher/plugs, 12g, 10g, 8g, and 6g. Later that night, when I got home, I decided to put in my 12g pinchers (I know, probably not a good idea, but I couldn't wait to start stretching). So I put them in no problem, so about an hour later I put in my 10g plugs. That was harder the 12's but I only hurt a little bit, so I kept them in. An hour later, I put in my 8g plugs, I got them in, but it was extremely painful. So i took them out, and I put my 10g plugs back in.

About 2 days later, I put in the 8g plugs, and that was the first stretch that actually hurt. I waited about 2 more days and put in my 6g plugs, that stretch hurt! I had a pain in my head, and it took me a while to go to sleep because of the pain. When I had my 6g plugs in, my Dad finally noticed, when we were eating out at a restaurant. He saw them, and said "What is that in your ear?" I told him it was an earring, and that's the last thing he's mentioned about them since. I'm really happy, because I thought he would have been super pissed at me for it. It's really relieving, because I was trying to hide them from him, and now I don't have to hide them anymore.

The same week (I'm not sure which day), I went to Hot Topic yet again and bought 2 set of plugs/pinchers, 4's and 2's. In the parking lot, as soon as I got out of the mall I put my 4gs in and it was only a moderate pain. When I had my white 4gs in my Mom finally noticed them and it was a little harder for her to accept them, then it was for my Dad. The next day, 1 day after I put in the 4's, I tried to put in my 2's. This was a bad decision, because my ears started to bleed, I took them out immediately, and put my 4gs back in. I waited like a week to put in my 2g plugs, and it hurt a little bit, I stretched them right before I went to bed, and they didn't hurt when I woke up. The next night, I took them out to clean them, and I forgot to put them back in. So I went to sleep without my plugs in and I woke up and went to school without them in (I didn't realize they weren't in until lunch). So as soon as I got home I could only fit a 4 through so I put it in and it hurt! After a few hours, I put my 2's in. The previous weekend I had bought some 0g tapers and 0g plugs a few days prior to putting in my 2's, and after about 2 days with my 2's in I lubed up a taper with Dial hand soap, and butted up my 0g plug and put it through my ear. That stretch was about as painful as my 8 to 6.

At present my current gauge is a 0, but I plan on going to a 00 in the next few days. Eventually I hope to go up to at least a 5/8s. A have a friend that has 5/8in and they look awesome, so I've decided to go that big.
