G'Day everyone. This tale of mine is probably directed more towards people who are thinking of stretching there lobes for the first time. You know, from nothing. So all you guys and gals out there with lobes so big you can fit your fingers through them will probably read this and go "yawn". But this is my story, so back off... only joking. This was all done in my bathroom at home, so if you are thinking about stretching your own lobes, either very very very careful, or get it done professionally!!!

Saturday 1st July 2006. Today I pierced my right ear lobe with a pin in my bathroom. I have an average 1mm silver sleeper through it. A bit of blood from the front but hardly any swelling afterwards at all... ice for 30 minutes works wonders you know!! It has probably been pierced around 5 times before and taken out for various reasons. This time I'm leaving it in and stretching it up to 8mm because my left lobe is already stretched to that size. I have enough plugs, tapers and rings to go up to 8mm, so here I go.
Tuesday 11th July 2006. 10 days later- I have gone bigger... albeit a 1.6mm steel circular barbell. Yep, took the sleeper out and fed the 1.6mm horseshoe straight though. It did hurt a bit and my lobe is a little bit crusty around the hole but it feels alright. It mainly hurts when I roll over at night while I am sleeping.
Friday 14th July 2006. 3 days later- Okay, the 2.4mm horseshoe ring is in! It's a little painful to touch but otherwise good as gold. I don't have any sea-salt so I am just cleaning it in the shower. I was worried about ripping it but luckily there was no blood. Taking the first ring out, I put the 3.2mm taper to the tiny hole in my lobe and pushed it through as far as I could. It only went in about 1 centimeter, so I left it hanging there for about 2 hours. That stretched the hole just enough to push the 2.4m ring through.
Sunday 16th July 2006. 2 days later- I know, i know. I am extremely impatient! My ear was feeling great so I thought from 2.4mm up to 3.2mm would be no problem. After I had a shower, I put some KY lubricant on my 3.2mm taper and... pushed it straight through. It pinched for a couple of seconds. Straight away I pushed the taper out and a 3.2mm plug in, which immediately soothed the pinching sensation. It is swollen a tiny bit but I think it's been like that for a couple of days because of when i am asleep. So far so good eh'?
Friday 21st July 2006. 5 days later- 3.2mm acrylic plug out and 4mm plug straight in. I had to put some electrical tape around the taper coz I didn't have a 4mm taper. Same as always... plenty of lube and gently push it through immediately after a shower. It did swell and feel a bit fat for the night but by the next morning it was back to normal size. For the first time I have two black plugs in each ear... albeit an 8mm and 4mm. At least I am starting to feel asymmetrical again. I am going to wait till at least the weekend to upsize I think.
Wednesday 26th July 2006. 5 days later- Alright, so I lied. But I cannot wait. My right ear lobe now has a 5mm black acrylic plug in it. This is all happening way too easily for my liking. I am waiting to wake up with a blood soaked pillow or something horrendous?? Fingers crossed though!
Friday 28th July 2006. 2 days later- It took less than 5 minutes. 5mm out, stretch with lube and a taper and 6mm in. Simple as that!
Sunday 30th July 2006. 2 days later- I have a job interview on Monday and I am hoping to have my 8mm plug in by then. I just pushed the 7mm taper through, replaceing it straight away with a 7mm plug. I don't want to sound like a broken record but I could not be happier with how easy this is all happening!!
Monday 31st July 2006. 1 day later- It's now 6.45pm and I made it. Both my ear lobes have an 8mm acrylic black plug in them. And I am stoked!!! From 7mm to 8mm actually pinched like a bastard and is throbbing a bit right now. My ear is not red though so it should be right by morning. I'll wait a day or two then put my 8mm flesh tunnels in. Then I think I am finished? I have thought about going up to 10mm though...?
So the only advice I have is this... take lots of advice and read lots of stories. Everybody is different. My ear lobe went from nothing to 8mm in literally 1 month to the day. And that was in no way planned! Do not skip sizes. If it swells, bleeds, goes red or anything unnatural, take the plugs out and down sizes immediately. And wait till they completely heal. On the other hand though, if you are lucky like me and have no problems... go bananas!!! Enjoy, everyone! Happy Stretching!!!
