Well, I had wanted another piercing as you do but with me being at school and being young and according to my mother having too many piercings as it was I didn't think it was worth asking or begging.

She refused. I didn't give up. I wasn't even too sure what I wanted. I remembered seeing someone with the Anti Tragus and I thought it looked amazing. I read about it whilst my mother was refusing and I read it hurt a lot and bleed and stuff I was put off a bit from getting it. I asked my mother again and she said "As long as you pay and your brother takes you" so I was quite happy she said it was ok.
For my next piercing I decided to go to Pandemic (upstairs in Experience)instead of the usual place. I thought the place I went to was good for piercing but when I went in Pandemic weeks before to get a nose ring I realised it wasn't as good as I thought.
So I had planned to get it done on the Saturday after my mum said it was ok but my brother was away and couldn't take me.
So it was set for the Saturday after.
The day had come, I was at the hairdressers in the morning I was getting quite excited about getting my piercing.
I got to town with my brother and went straight to Pandemic, at this point I was chickening out but then I got to grip and went in and asked the woman about it.
She looked and said I hadn't a great deal of cartilage there and if it wasn't possible to pierce it wouldn't be pierced. Which I can understand, she said they could do it but with a curved bar which I wasn't bothered about as long as it was pierced. I asked if it was a painful ear piercing, she said it wouldn't hurt any more than my conch piercing, that didn't hurt me so I decided to get it.
I picked a bar instead of a ring as I believed it would probably heal quicker.
It cost me £19 with the bar which wasn't bad I guess.
So I paid for my piercing etc filled in the forms.
I had to wait till the piercer got back from his lunch.
I was sat with my brother and he was like making me nervous and purposely annoying me.
Anyways.. The piercer got back and he had a discussion with the woman about it and said he'd be able to do it with a 1.2 bar.
I went in and at this point I was really nervous.
He was lovely the man and calmed me down, I felt quite happy as he seemed to know full what he was doing and he was feeling my ear and was judging the best place to put it.
At the other piercing place it was just straight in and out.
I spent a good 5 minutes in the room.
He said he would have to do it free hand with made me think it would hurt more for some reason.
I was sat on the chair and he was telling me to calm down and relax etc.
He then was telling me the best time to get a tattoo or piercing is when you're on your period, ha-ha random.
Anyways yes. He cleaned my ear this stuff and then he spent about a minute decided the best way to do it whilst reassuring me he always made sure the person was comfy and ok when he was doing the piercing.
I got asked if I'd had breakfast and I hadn't he said to make sure I went out straight afterwards and got a sugary drink and something to eat.
He then took the needle out of the packet after dotting where it would go and me saying it was fine. He got me to breath in and out for a few times and then he pierced it.
I aren't going to lie, it hurt a bit, he had to stop half way through to make sure the needle wasn't going through and turn it to go through the rest of the cartilage there, there wasn't much cartilage so it was a bit of a challenge but he managed it and it looks beautiful.
Its painful but its bearable, its nothing bad. Then the jewellery went it which hurt a bit but again nothing unbearable.
That was it.
He then said if I had problems to go back even if it was only small and silly and said next time I go to get it change he would change it for me.
Overall my piercing looks amazing. Its healing ok still swollen but it doesn't hurt or anything.
And Pandemic piercing was excellent.
