When starting my piercing experience I wanted both of my lobes to be at a inch and five eights. My first piercing was my left lobe way before I got my right one done. So it took me a while for me to get to one inch. When I did get to one inch I was happy, I used pfte tape to stretch my ears bigger. I ordered inch and a quarter from one tribe. I just used the tape to get to inch and one eight. So I got to inch and a quarter and I was so happy that I did.

About two months later I was ready for inch and a half. So I got a plug (wood) and a flesh tunnel and that was glass. The first one I put in was the plug and that did nothing to my ear and it was fine. So I left that in for a while and cleaned it out and everything. When It came time to wear the glass my ear did not like it. I usually noticed the scar forming at the bottom of my lobe at the end of the day before I go to bed. I just took it out and did not think anything of it. The next day it went away so I switched them out and I put in the wood and it did not bother my ear. But when I put in the glass in the winter time it hardly had any problems unless I did in the summer.

So when I did have the glass in my ear during the summer in the hot summer heat of Arizona it just totally ruined my ear. When I got home at the end of the day and took my glass out, I had a huge scar in my lobes and it was bleeding. I let it heal and my ear formed different. I had to drop down to inch and one eight. My ear went back up to inch and one half in like one month. So finally I put the glass in thinking that the scar was a one time deal. No it was not. I left it in for two days and took it out the second night and my ear was nearly gone. I was mad and did not know what to do. The scar had eaten the fat away. So now it was in two, I had to accept it the way it was. I did not have enough money to fix it up. I had gone to the doctor before and they sewed it up but the skin did not take. So I am left with split lobes. I was bummed out for a while and did not go out. I got told that it look different and it was ok. I got suggested that I should pierce it across. I had some good suggestions but I kept some in mind. I had a friend that offered that I super glue my ear together so it would look normal... that did not work out to well. I have always wore a beanie so what I did was wear the beanie over my ear so no one could look.

I was so happy that I did not have to go to school like that. I did have one bad thing though. I did work in a movie theater so I kept getting stupid questions and comments that were really obvious. "Did your lobe split?" yes it did thank you for telling me that. After awhile I just got used to it and was happy that my ear was different and did not care what other people thought about my ear.

I live in a community where this stuff is new to them. I still would want my lobe back together. I was thinking I will pierce it to a eight gauge. So I have done that to the outer side of my lobe. And I will stretch that to one and a half inches to match my other lobe. For the other part I will stretch that to a half inch. So for right now I am at a eight gauge and will stretch every two weeks or so. I have used lobe stretching oil on all my ears and they look real nice. To my split lobe I will have to do the same for it. I had originally had gone to Wal Mart to get it pierced but that was a very long start for me so I got my own needle and pierced my self so that I would be a little bit more into it.

I have all my stuff to go on from where I am at. I will just have to take my time and work my way back up. Pay attention to your ears if you got a scar from it the first time do not push it the next.
