Well I first saw an industrial piercing when I was on a family trip in Vien. The guy that sold my ticket at Shonbrunn had one and I just couldn't take my eyes off of it.

I didn't think that much after that about it... it was a year after that I got my tongue pierced... it was really cool because nobody else in my group had one and everyone had funny reactions when they saw it.

But the happiness was soon to be over because more tongue piercings appeared and when a friend of mine got one I was quite annoyed and started to search for piercings that no one else had.

I started to search the word "piercing" on google images and I suddenly saw an industrial!!! I fell in love with it right away, also reminding me of that sweet guy from Vien!

The only problem was, once I convinced my parents to let me have it, that in Oradea there were no actual studio piercings just beauty studios that pierced as well. Most of them only pierced navels but Manu, the one who pierced my tongue was willing to pierce my industrial as well, although she had never done this. I know this is really nasty, have a zero-experienced piercer do such a hard a piercing, and I seriously considered to wait until my trip to France in spring. But it was so hard to wait! This idea got in my head and wasn't willing to wait!

Another problem was that I couldn't find a long enough barbell! People were staring at me like I was crazy when I asked, "Do you have 5 cm long barbells?" My uncle tried to find one in Bucharest as well but he couldn't... I was quite out of hope until I got a response from piercing.ro... I was so happy! I soon received it.

My mother wanted to come with me because she wasn't sure about it.

It was the longest day of my life! At school, I told all my friends that I was going to stick a 5 cm metal bar though my ear that day but nobody believed me! Of course, the word "industrial" couldn't have any effect on them and that made my feel very confident on my choice.

I got to the studio and I had to wait for 10 minute for Manu to be over with a facial. My mom kept telling me that this isn't going to make me more beautiful and I could leave any moment (moms!!). But I told her nothing could stop me now!

So I entered. First, Manu tried to convince me to get it with a piercing gun but I totally said NO! I wanted to be made with a needle, nice and clean! (so responsible!)

She had my lied down and cleaned my ear, then she marked it, like in the photo I showed her. She took the needle out. I was so frightened! I couldn't believe I was finally going to get it. Mom was holding my hand and Manu was piercing my upper cartilage. God, it was so painful! She got the bar in, screwed the ball and them waited for a while (because I told her so)... mean time, my mom started to feel sick :))...

The second hole was made the same way, (different needle of course), and it hurt like the other one. The finally screwed the other ball and I was over!! My ear was red, sour and really hot, like it caught fire!! She sprayed it with "oxytetraciclin"... I kept looking at it in gloom... I loved it. Although it looked red like a tomato!

The pain didn't stop for about 10 hours and it was annoying that I had to sleep on my right side, since I always sleep on my left side.

I clean it with salt water, dipping my ear in salt water and I had a shower today when I left water pour on it.

It has been exactly two days since I have it and I really don't feel much of a thing. It's not sour and swallowed. It looks really cool. I love it. It's healing really well, better than I expected...

Of course I don't encourage people have it done at poor-experienced piercers but if they want to do it, they should. It's soo cool and rare (at least here) also, it's a difficult piercing when it comes to after care, because it's hard to clean and heal... BUT all of these are nothing compared to the reactions u get... like "Oh, my god, now that's a thing I have never seen in my life" or "Where did you find such a long barbell?" (Hehe, I'm not going to answer that, because I really want to be unique) all in all, it was worth it! Now I want to find something crazier!!
