Well, once upon a time... hehe just kidding.

My story starts about two years ago when I got a bug up my butt one day and couldn't push it off anymore. I called up my friend, Rachel and told her my plan. The next tough task was trying to tell my mom that we were going in to get pierced...again. Parents aren't so fond of the whole body modification thing, not sure why?

"well mom, I'm leaving."
"where are you going?"
"to Jeff's tattoo and body piercing"
"NO KIRA! This is it, you have too much of that crap in your body already."
"aww, c'mon mom, just one more I promise, this will be the last one! Please, pretty please? I'll do the dishes for a month, I'll clean the house, wash your car..."
'Whatever, but this is the last one, if I find out that you got any more, you will be in some serious trouble..."
"yah, ok mom...whatever!"

This, at the time was my 14th piercing so I didn't think anything of it. -normal routine- On the way to the parlor, we stop to get something to eat, take some aspirin to ease the pain just a tad, and talk about how cute our new metal was going to be. I've looked into the industrial read some stories and after coming to the BMEZINE, I absolutely fell in love with the way the industrial looked. I was looking at the different types and the different placements and just decided that I liked the look of the standard industrial the best. Simple, yet tough looking. The thought of this piercing just intrigued me and the second I saw it, I knew that it was going to be my next modification. I looked up stories on the procedure, looked into how painful it was going to be. I thought I was in for a good treat. Every one of the stories that I read, said that it wasn't too bad. It doesn't hurt much more than any other piercing. Let me tell you, they were lying! I've been known as a person that has a pretty high pain tolerance to most people, and thought that I did too. Call me a baby, but this one hurt!

So after everything I obviously decided to go through with it, or I wouldn't be writing this story. Rachel and I headed off the thirty miles down the road to (our usual pre-piercing stop) McDonalds. In the middle of our meal, we each downed a couple aspirin even though we weren't too sure about the pain that was yet to come, then headed to the parlor.

The wait to get in to see Jeff always get me a little anxious -queasy, why am I doing this again feeling- He calls my name and tells me to have a seat in the big pink dentist looking chair that I have been in so many times before. I was actually in for two piercings this time...when I told my mom that I was going in again, she got a little mad and told me that this was the last time...so I figured that I'd make it good (get two and a discount ha-ha) Jeff asked me which one that I wanted him to do first, I told him the industrial cause I thought that the pain from that would get me over the next one. And BOY WAS I RIGHT!

Jeff did his whole usual routine... He knew me by name and knew how I reacted from previous times. Are you ready for this Kira? He says calmly, as he marks the two spots in my upper ear. He was always really good about explaining to me everything he is doing which eases my mind a lot. Knowing...he's done this many times and they all survived haha! I'll be OK! Jeff hands me the mirror and asks me how the placement is and I hesitate to agree because I know what is coming next. He goes "C'mon Kira, we've been through this... you hype yourself up, then when its done, it's always wow; that wasn't so bad." So I gave him back the mirror and said "OK, do it."

"On my counts...breathe in odd and breathe out even "...1...2...OUCH!!! 1 poke is done 1 left to go. I feel my ear get burning hot. "3...4...5..." Expecting more pain, I clenched my teeth, and my friend's hand. She screamed and Jeff said "see, that wasn't so bad..?" I didn't answer him. All I could think was, oh yah? Let me do it to you!

Out of all the piercings that I have, this one was the most painful...but it was so worth it. It's the cutest one that I have too. I don't plan on taking it out for quite a while!
