Well I just found out about industrials not long ago.. probably a month or so ago. I immediately thought it was cool and asked my mom if I could get one which she shot down instantly. So I tried again a few days later and still she said no. So about 2 weeks ago I brought it up again and kept saying oh wouldn't it be awesome if I got an industrial or "what would make you happy right now? well it would be happier if I got my industrial." Just stupid things like that. and it worked. She finally gave in and said she just wants to see pictures of what it looks like first so she can make her decision.

So the trouble now was making sure my dad would allow this.. which at first he didn't but after I explained it thoroughly he said fine get it done, put holes in your body it just better not make me gag. So I was like great.. if it makes you gag, don't look at it. He also said that he didn't want something huge and clunky in my ear and he didn't want it to be noticeable by the whole family to comment and complain about.

So I was originally supposed to get it Monday which changed to Tuesday which changed to Wednesday which was when I got fed up. So my mom said alright for sure Thursday.

So we went to the studio ( by the way, if you're ever in Windsor, need a new hole on pelissier road is the best. ask for mike). Mike was really nice. He was very honest and since my mom asked him if its going to be huge because if it is my dad will make me take it out and he said well if she's just going to take it out you shouldn't waste your money and I shouldn't waste my time. he was so awesome and for the ladies, he was damn hot too =). I read on the internet and was told my various people that obviously it's good to have a really clean studio and have it very organized and it really was. I waited for about 45 minutes. I finally got in the room and by then I was actually nervous. I was a little shaky but I still wanted it desperately. So he made me sit on this stool. and talked me through it. He didn't show me the needle until after just so I wouldn't freak. and I would have if he had shown me it. He showed me what bar he was putting in and the size of the balls for the end. I asked him simple questions about how other people reacted to the pain or if his hurt. (he had his done as well). He explained to me that most people say ire hurts when it really doesn't, it's just all in their heads and they make it think it hurts.

He cleaned off my ear and then marked it. Then he took the needle and did the top hole first. Pretty quickly too. It didn't hurt. It was a pinch but not enough for me to wince or to say ouch or anything. He then did the second hole. That hurt more then the first one. I felt stupid but during the next hole I was squeezing my moms hand and breathing really deep. After the first whole I just got really nervous. It seemed to take a little longer to do too. But after he put the needle in I asked him when he's going to put the jewelry in. he had said he already did it and all he had to do was stop the bleeding and I'd be ready to go. Which was awesome because I hadn't realized that it was a hollow needle and I wouldn't have to feel the needle come out AND the jewelry going in.

After that it felt like it was on fire for the next hour or so. It was throbbing after that; not a painful throbbing, but enough to get me aggravated. and then it calmed right down. It only hurts now when I get it snagged on something. I got it done Thursday and it is now Saturday.. so it is still new and tender. I really like it though. It looks awesome and its so easy to take care of. it doesn't hurt a bit unless banged on accident. it doesn't hurt to clean it much either. so all in all it didn't hurt nearly as much as I thought it would. I had read on other experiences and got an idea of how it would feel. But to me it didn't hurt. I said "ouch that hurt a bit", once I think but that's all. But I love it and the small pain I went through and the $95 I spent on it were definitely worth it
