I don't know when it started or when I became fascinated with body piercing. I guess it started when I see someone that I work with who had his tragus pierced and I thought it was cool. At the time I did not know what it was called and before I decided to ask my parents if I could get it done I found out what it was called.
I went and asked my mom. I sort of tricked her because I did not think that she'd agree to let me have my tragus pierced because I am the youngest of three. So I asked her if I could get my ear pierced and she said okay. Then I told here what part of my ear was going to get pierced and she was not so sure about it anymore. She told me to go ask my dad because he'd say no. Much to my surprise he said he did not care what I did to my ears as long as I paid for it I agreed to pay.

About a week later on a Sunday we went the Point Blank in the Dells and in Wisconsin there is a law that prohibits minors to get piercing without their parents consent. Well you need a state issued id and so do your parents. Well I had my id but my parents left theirs at home so I drove home disappointed.

The next Wednesday I went to get it pierced but the Point blank was closed, they were only open on the weekend. I was sure that I would never get my tragus pierced. So my mom took me to McDonalds, not quite the thing I wanted, but I was hungry and depressed. I had to work that night and could not wait to go home after work. I was mad that they were only open on the weekends and I would not have time to have it done. That was the second time there to get my tragus pierced. Both unsuccessful. I was sure at this point that I would never get my tragus pierced. But I was determined to have it pierced and I would let nothing stand in my way.

I went back the same week Friday, as I did not have school because of thanksgiving, so I made my dad meet me at the studio before I had to go to work. This time we both had ids so I was able to get it pierced. They looked at both of our ids photo copied it and made my dad sign a piece of paper authorizing that he was my father and the brought me to a room separate from the lobby area. It costed 55 dollars with the jewelry. The piercer (I don't remember his name I was too excited, to finally have my tragus being pierced) marked my ear I agreed with it right away. He put his gloves on sterilized everything and clamped my tragus off. Then he proceeded to push the needle through. I don't remember hearing any crunching or popping noise as other people have. The only part that really hurt was when he put the earring through. He also said putting the ball in was the hardest part of having your tragus pierced.

This occurred around noon and he told me to clean my tragus twice a day to remove and crusties around the piercing, with bactine. I had a couple of hours to kill before I could go to work. I went to Wal-Mart and bought bactine just like he said. So I went to work at three and around six for no reason it just started bleeding very bad and I had to go clean it before I could go back to work. This only happened that night and a good thing because if it bled more I might of taken it out. When it was healing I got sick and a lymph note formed and my mom was sure that it was because I had my tragus pierced. She wanted me to take it out but I did not, and it healed fine. It has been about a year since I got my right tragus pierced. I am happy with the results of the piercing and glad that I had it done when I did or I'd never have it pierced. Even though my mom doesn't like the look of my friends say it is cute and you can barely see it because I have small a tragus and switched it out to an 18 CBR. I'd recommend this piercing to anyone I thought it was going to hurt worse than it really did and I hear no popping noise. It was simple and it looks cute.

There is something about piercing that intrigues me because I am thinking about getting my left rook and left tragus pierced because I am going through piercing withdrawals. I feel like I need something pierced and I already have my lobes pierced twice in each ear and my cartilage pierced twice in the right ear. I can't wait till I turn eighteen and can get a tattoo and a piercing without my parents.
