I have wanted my industrial for a long time after I seen it on BME. I saw a few people with it at the Rolling Stones concert 2 weeks ago, and I knew it would look really cool on me. The only problem was that I was REALLY nervous about the pain. I had heard that it was one of the most painful piercings you can get. I'm a real wimp when it comes to pain belive it or not. I now have 16 piercings so if you saw me you might not belive that im afraid of pain. I wont even go paint balling because of it.

So anyways I decided yesterday I would go today. I got my friend Marie to go with me because she is into piercings about as much as I am, but she only has her ears stretched and her nipples done because her mom wont let her get anything done. She obviously doesn't know she has her nipples done. So anyways, I had 50 dollars, and since It's a wednesday, if I went to Epidart, it would be half off. It only depended on weather they counted it as one piercing or two. So Marie suggested I try pins and needles. So I did and it was only 30 dollars because of a back to school sale. So I went there because I hadn't been there yet and I wanted to try out the different ones in Moncton so I would really know which one was the best. So after school me and Marie took the school bus to my friend Steven's house and we walked a little further to Pins and Needles. Its an extremely colorful building that used to be a dog groomer's place. It was cool. As soon as I got within sight of the front balcony (It looked like it used to be a house) I saw my friend Amy there, and she had gotten her tongue done for the second time. (which is the next piercing Im getting.) She was like, "You have enough piercings, go away," so I told her that you could never have too many. I went in, and immediately I knew I was gonna like it there. They had a couch for waiting, a water dispenser, and working there was a girl I know from school, Courtney. Well after talking to her I found out she doesn't work there. Her fiancé is the piercer. And also there was another girl I know and her brother and her mom. I think her mom works there too its so cool. Her mom looks just like a teenager. So Courtney gives me a sheet to fill out after Larry the piercer tells me that he just has to pierce someone else first. So I filled it out and started to look at the jewelery. I really need to buy stretchers, or plugs. Not the claw ones, just plugs. So I was lookin at them and decided I wanted to buy hollow steel ones. But I had to wait until I got more money.

So when the other girl was done getting pierced, I nervously sat on the bench, which wasn't the normal dentist type chair, it was one of those ones you find in a dentists office covered in crinkley wax paper that you sit or lay on. It was kind of comfy. Anyways he starts to clean all the stuff, after he lets me pick out the jewelery I want. I asked about a rainbow colored bar but he tells me that its porous, and you cant get it pierced with it. But then he tells me I can come back in three months to get it changed.

Then he asks me all sorts of questions weather I want a different sort of industrial, he said he could make it all different so it would be cool looking. I just wanted the plain one.

So he shows me the stuff, and after talking for about 10 minutes and showing me all the jewelery I had to choose from, he puts the needle to my ear. He pushed the needle through me ear slowly, and it hurt like a mother f*cker. But it almost wasn't what

I expected. I thought it would hurt a little more. Then he did the second hole, and I can honestly say that when other people say the second hole hurts more, it's not true. Well not for me anyways. So he puts the bar in the rest of the way and I look in the mirror. My ear was kind of throbbing and there the bar is through me ear the blood rushed the the area and it was dark, dark blood red. Larry said it would go away in a few hours and he was right. More like one hour or less. I am so happy I finally went through with it, even though it did hurt like hell. I am trying to show it off but the placement is kind of high because of the shape of my ear, so it kind of hides behind my hair. I know I'll be so happy with it when it heals. So anyone wishing to get their industrial...GO FOR IT!!!
