About 6-7 months ago I was looking around on BME and came across a picture of a tragus piercing. At first I thought it might have been the cutest thing I've ever seen. Ever. So a few weeks later, I went to my mother and asked for her permission. At first it was a flat out "NO." I was pretty disappointed, I must say. So, about 2 months later, with the help of my sister, we somehow persuaded her to say yes. I was beyond excited.

I was already pretty comfortable with C T & M. A couple years ago my sister had gone there to get her belly button and lip. I strongly suggest them. Shes a very good piercer. She makes it all so relaxing. You barely even think about a needle going through you.
I got to the shop and my sister was immediately recognized. We started talking, and she went for the form but first hesitated and asked "How old are you?" I look much older then 13. I told her my age, and she handed my mom the form. My mom finished the form, handed it to my piercer.
My piercer looked at me and said, "Are you ready?" I said, "Yup I think so" So we walked into the little room and I sat down in her chair. I was extremely scared. I remember I kept thinking to myself "Oh god, what am I doing?!?!" So her and my sister were talking, and I asked if she could come around and hold my hand. She said "Sure!" So my sister came, and she was cleaning my tragus part. She put the clamp on and said "This is the worst part!" So I thought she meant the needle was the worst part! She put the needle through, and put the ring on, and I didn't even notice! I thought she was just starting to clamp it when she said "All done?"
I couldn't believe what I had just heard, "All done?!?" I asked.
"Yup!"
She was a very cheery person, and I love her for it. She's always happy and she always makes it better. I think if she wasn't the one piercing me, I wouldn't have survived it.
I felt a little dizzy when she finished, so I sat down and she took a wet paper towel and held it on the back of my neck, and my for-head. She also gave me a cup of cold water. She was very nice about everything.
Before I left she gave me a sucker, instructions on care&cleaning and a hug goodbye. She told me to call her with any problems.
So, about a month later, a little bubble had formed on top of the hole. I thought it was nothing, you know, just a part of the healing process.but then it got bigger, and bloody, and it hurt whenever I would lay on it, or anything touched it. So my mom saw it, started flipping out, and told me to take it out! I told her no way. I said I would call my piercer and ask her what she thinks.
So as soon as I got home from school, I called. She asked me a couple questions, and told me I should come in. I was scared SHIT-LESS. She told me I had to get it drained. So we got to the piercing shop, we all talked again. ( we like to talk a lot ) Then she walked me back. My sister gave me her hand to hold. I held on to it as tight and I could because I was so scared.
She un-screwed the little ball off the barbel and started trying to take it out of my ear. What she DIDN'T realize was that there was dry blood stuck there, and she was pretty much just causing more pain. So I let out a little "ow" and she said "Oh, I'm sorry" and scraped off the blood and took it out.
She cleaned my tragus once again, and took a needle. I got scared. She asked me if I was ready and I said "I guess so." So she took the needle and started poking at the bubble about 7 times until all the pus and blood came out. During or after the process, she started singing the Hokey Pokey. She's really funny. I guess thats why she makes everything so much easier. It just felt the same way it did when she pierced it, except longer. So, I was okay. She cleaned it, put the barbell back in, and cleaned it again. I was so relieved it didn't hurt. On my way out, she said "Call me again if you have any other problems..We may have to drain it again." All I thought was "Oh god...", but I smiled and said "Ok, thank you, bye!"
I got home and admired it, again. I really love this piercing, and its painless so I definitely suggest it! I also suggest C T & M! She is just..amazing. I bet you ANYONE would love her!
