So after getting my venoms I've been trying to get something else done so one day after getting out of my statistics for behavioral science (that's one of the requirements for my psychology major) I decided to run over to the piercing shop, The kingdom, the one where I got my venoms to get something new. When I was on my way to the piercing shop I was thinking of just getting a helix piercing, they look really nice and all, but one I got there I was thinking that the helix was way too common. So then I was going over in my head thinking about what I should get done ( I had plenty of time to think because Venus, the piercer, was late to work because she fell asleep on the train and ended up somewhere else). So as I was sitting on a pillow on the floor looking at tattoo pictures I remembered how nice the vertical tragus piercing looks and how I haven't really seen anyone around with it most people just have the tragus piercing (which looks really nice and I want to get done) so I decided to get that done.

So after like 20 minutes on waiting in the piercing shop Venus finally shows up, I paid the 25 dollars for the piercing and we selected the jewelry, I got a curved 16 G barbell, which really isn't the best but that's what they had. Anyways I went downstairs with her and sat in the same chair where Jesus did the venoms and told Venus what I wanted, when I said I wanted a vertical tragus and explained how I wanted it positioned she went on about how what I wanted wasn't a vertical tragus but an anti-tragus and she went on about how people call it different things, but that most piercers call what I got an anti-tragus, which is very different from what BME call an anti-tragus... but either way what I got was a surface-vertical-tragus...

Anyways, she marked the skin and showed me, I thought it was perfect. Then she took the needle with lube and just pierced me. Now this was the easiest piercing ever, it really didn't hurt at all... after that we went to CVS because she wanted to get a camera to take a picture, and then we went to where her friend worked so that I could buy the H2O water thing to clean it with, and then she took a picture and discussed with her friend whether what I got was a vertical tragus or an anti-tragus, and he agreed with her, because the vertical tragus has to actually go through the cartilage or at least go through the actual tragus....

Now its been a little over two weeks and the piercing is doing great. I didn't have some problems the first week. One morning I woke up and there was blood all over the pillow, which means that I probably slept on it, which I'm not supposed to do. And then another night the top ball came off and I was woke up at 3 in the morning and had to fish around my bed trying to find the ball which is almost impossible because the ball is so tiny. And when I did find it and tried to put it back on I couldn't because I was half asleep and trying to put it on in bed, with no mirror, with the lights off, which just shows what a genius I am, so I just waited till the morning to put it back on... so now its been two weeks and it's looking great, there's no blood, no pain, no crusties. From time to time I clean it with warm water on a cotton swab and then spray it with the H2O...

So far it looks great, it really freaks out my friends... on of the was all like "what would you have done if it had hit a nerve?" and telling me how he now knows that I'm insane, they keep saying it looks like I got a bolt on the side of my head, which is exactly what Venus said some people would say. The lady I work with really hates it, and it really scares the kids I teach lol... the one thing I'm really nervous about is it migrating, because I've heard that its one of those piercings that after some time it just starts to migrate and I really don't want to lose my beautiful piercing because I love it and it's a part of me. Anyways for anyone thinking of getting it done, I really recommend it... it's a very simple, very pain free piercing and looks really awesome... anyone that has any questions don't be afraid to email me =)
