Ever since I got my nose pierced I've been addicted to getting piercings. I have my anti tragus, ear lobes, 3 cartilage piercings, and my nipple pierced. I love the rush you get after you get one, and the nervousness you feel before you get one because after your like I was nervous over that? The best part is showing off your knew piercing and everyone asking you if it hurt, and seeing there faces in shock when you tell them it didn't hurt.

Studio Esthetik Fetish Location Ontario Canada I was Co oping at the Esthetik, and I found out that the owner was having a piercing class going on. I asked the piercer all about it. She told me that the piercings were free but we had to pay for the jewellery and home care products (if we wanted any) and that we were only allowed to have up to 3 piercings because she didn't want to risk making any of us sick. So I went home though about what piercing I wanted. I didn't want a piercing that every 2 people had it. So asked my parents if I could get my anti-tragus pierced. After bugging them for a couple of hours they finally gave in.
So I booked to have my anti-tragus pierced on October 18 2004. The day came when I was to get it pierced, I was so nervous because I heard that it was one of the most painful piercings that you could get. When my mom dropped me + friend off my mom told me I'd better not come home with more then 1 piercing. My friend got her nipple pierced and she went first. So when it came my turn to receive my piercing I jumped up on the comfy chair, and asked if it hurt. The piercer said no it doesn't. The person that pierced me was learning how to pierce , so I was extremely nervous. I brought in my own jewellery but it was to big for my anti-tragus so I decided not to use it, and just buy a hoop from the Esthetik Fetish
Before she got set up for the piercing I had to sign a paper saying I was instructed how to take care of piercings . After I signed the sheet she told me to turn on my left side. The piercer cleaned my ear, and marked where the ring would be, then asked me if the spot where she had marked was ok. She then clamped my anti- tragus which hurt so much. She was moving it back and forth, my eyes started to water. The piercer then asked me to take a deep breath and asked if I was ready, and ready because I wanted the clamp off my ear. After like 5 minutes she put the needle through, that part didn't hurt at all. Then the piercer said oh shoot I asked what? She said that she forgot to check for veins and hit one. It wasn't as bad I thought it was going to be. Then she put the hoop through and cleaned it all up. After she held up a mirror so I could see my new addition. It bled the first day. A little while later after you get pierced you feel a bit of throbbing.
I would recommend this piercing to anyone. But I do warn that it becomes infected really easy, so make sure you clean it throughly. It's a great piercing because not a lot of people have it. So if your thinking about getting this piercing it doesn't hurt at all, and that you will love this piercing. Also hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy it. You will get a lot of compliments on this person, I know I did. It sits on you ear nice. You also can sleep on this piercing the first night you get it done. I have seen only one other person with an anti-tragus piercing. She went to the same school I do, but she graduated, so now I'm the only one at the school who has an anti-tragus piercing. This piercing takes awhile to heal , mine still isn't healed and I got mine 6 months ago. Mine was infected for a couple of months. I had to clean it 3x daily with the home care product I bought from Esthetik Fetish.
I think the hoop looks better then the barbell, but that is a personally opinion. If you can't get your tragus pierced get this pierced. My hoop is 16g, I'm not going to go any bigger. I'm also considering getting my tragus pierced, that piercing is also pretty cool. Also have a few tattoos in mind. I would recommend everyone getting a piercing (any piercing). The look good, and are fantastic, their just a pain to clean.
