It all started when I was 12 a few weeks before Christmas. I had just gotten my helix pierced and I found BME I started to look around at all the pictures of piercings they had, at the time I had only wanted my ears done and nothing more but that soon changed. I'm 14 now and have a total of 14 piercings well 15 if you count the industrial as 2 like some people do. I have my nose, navel, and 6 on my left ear and 6/7 on my right ear pierced. Again that depends if you count the industrial as 2 or 1 piercings.

But I'm here to talk about my industrial and only my industrial. So it happened like this. I had gone to my grandma and grandpa's for an early Christmas celebration, and while I was up thee they gave me 160 dollars plus other cool stuff to but I don't want to get off topic. I Thought long and hard about what I was going to do next time I had received a lot of money and what I came up with was let's get my industrial pierced. Now normally I would go to my grandparents and be like can you take me to buy something with my money but when it comes to piercings they really done approve, they are what you could call old fashioned. My pa always said "you don't need anymore holes in your body then god has put in it, who are you trying to impress anyways?" I have never thought of piercing my body as a way to impress anyone just merely to enhance my "beauty". I only get pierced of for me.

So later that weekend after I got back home I said to my mum that I finally have some money and I want to get my industrial done. Of course she said yes. I love my mum for that as long as it's not on my face she's fine with it. On Tuesday of the following week we went into Barrie so I could spend my gift certificates, but unfortunately I had forgotten them in my other purse so instead we just looked around in the mall for a couple hours. Then at 5 or so I said, "as long as we are here can I just get it done now?" and she agreed that we my as well. When we arrived at my piercer's place we noticed it closed early because they where having a party. I Guess Tuesdays are there slow days. We booked an appointment for the following day when we got home. Then I was left to anxiously wait for the next day at 5.

It came much slower than I had hope. We ended up somehow getting lost on the way so we were 15 minutes late. When we got inside they greeted us and asked if we were the 5 o'clock appointment we agreed and then we went into the back room to get started. For some reason even through I had been through 13 piercings before always get nervous and make it out to be bigger than it really is. Well the same thing happened and I kept asking questions to delay the actual needle going through the body part.

Thank god it took 15 minutes to measure and mark and colleen (my piercer) chose to put a barbell in. I'm fine with what she wants like she's the professional here right? So there I am with colleen my mum and colleen's apprentice all standing over me while colleen holds a needle up to my ear. I guess that was probably I bad time to tell them I was feeling nauseous and feeling a little confined.I asked if her apprentice could leave and if my mum could stand behind me only holding my hand. They did as told and I let colleen try again. She told me to take a deep breath in and on the breath out would push the needle through.

I was fine until I heard the pop it always freaks me out a little, she took a break then started again on the other hole that was the worse not only was it going through my cartilage again but it was also moving my fresh wound too so I must say I did cry a little form the pressure of it and when I cry I squirm and shake too, that must have been hard for her huh? After she did the second hole asked if she could give me a minute. She did. I think the worst part was when she put the barbell in and tightened the ball it felt like someone digging a knife into my body and jiggling it around. Gross eh?

After it was all done I got too see it and I loved it. I did think it could of been a little higher but she assured me that it would be at risk of rejecting if it was. So in all I was happy with it. I cannot tell you how the after care is going so far because it was just one 6 hours ago but I'm sure it will be fine.

I recommend this piercing to anyone who has a high pain tolerance and is responsible with the after care. I think I do have somewhat of one and I did fine.
