I live nowhere near Southampton roughly 50 miles away in Trowbridge, but I doubt many of you have heard of it? So, the reason I was there was all to do with my Brother, he was there to do some tests as he's dyslexic, so I was given a few hours free time in Southampton!

Studio Asgard Location Bargate Centre, Southampton First, I decided I had to do what I went there for, and that was a few friends birthday presents, once I had got all the birthday cards and presents I got a shake away and went shopping for myself! I ended up buying myself a new black skirt, and when I went to go and pay for it, I found a £10 note that I had forgotten about!
On my wanderings I found Asgard, I went inside and had a little look around at the jewellery that they had for sale, and ended up staring at the blackline stuff for quite a while. As I wandered round the store I took a glance at the pricing list, and thought about getting my ear done with my newly found £10 note.
I had my cartilage pierced before at my home town of Trowbridge, although I'm not completely satisfied with it as when I got it done it was pierced at an angle and doesn't sit flat very well, I've kept it in, and it doesn't look as bad as it did now that I've changed the BCR to a slightly smaller one.
I still wasn't sure about getting it done again, due to my past experience, so I gave my Dad a ring to ask him to pick me up as I was getting quite bored.
After I got off the phone I thought about it again, and then decided that I would go for it as I wasn't being picked up for at least 20 minutes. I wanted it done anyway, so I thought that there was no time like the present! As I'm getting my lip done on Saturday and I have an odd obsession about having an even number of piercings, so I will only have an odd number for a short while, as I now have 9 and can't wait for number 10!
I walked over to the counter and asked if I could be pierced, I was given a form to fill out and asked for my payment, after that I had to sit down and wait for a couple of minutes.
Once I got into the room, he talked to me about ear piercings. He asked how long I had my other one done and I told him that it wasn't that old, he said he could tell. So I said about it being infected and the fact I keep sleeping on it doesn't help! He told me not to sleep on it and to make sure I look after it a bit better as I was getting a new one right next to it. He asked about my tunnel and how much I was intending to stretch it, I only want it to go up to about 7mm and he then continued by saying that it was hard to find anything of 7mm to put in it, and that I might have to go to 8mm, so I mentioned that I already have a 7mm pincer at home which I got at reading festival.
After that he started to get out all of the equipment, putting on his gloves, then getting the BCR and putting it in the sterilising fluid. Then putting down a paper towel to put all the equipment on, this first one floated off, then he put on another one which soaked up something that got spilt, so on his third attempt he got a paper towel down. Then he used a rubber glove over the ring openers to open the ring and get the ball out, I was getting more and more impressed and the cleanliness! After that he got a fresh needle out and made sure that I could see him opening the packet. He marked out the positioning of where he would pierce me, and told me to face the wall and look at the poster as he sprayed some freeze spray onto my ear, it was of a half mechanical girl with some piercings and was quite interesting to be honest. He continued to talk to me throughout the procedure and I hardly noticed I was having a piercing!
After that I got up and looked in the mirror, and confirmed and signed that I was happy with it, after being talked through the cleaning procedure I was free to go, and happy with my piercing experience!
I highly recommend Asgard, and would definitely go there again!
But always remember if you're uncertain about one piercing place, there are plenty more!
