Hey my name is Blake and I already have a story on here about my navel piercing and I just recently got my tragus pierced. I decided that for my last piercing, I would get my Tragus pierced. I'm only 14, and my parents told me that I wasn't allowed to get any more piercings after my navel. Well, after I got my navel done, I got my second cartlidge piercing, and I did my own fourth lobe holes. And I got my nose pierced, but I took that out. So before I had gotten my Tragus I had four holes in each of my lobes, both of my cartlidges and my navel.

When I asked my mom if I could get my tragus pierced, her immediate answer was NO! (She was still really mad at me about my nose and fourth holes.) I bugged her about it for about four months, and everytime I asked her she said no. So the night before I was going to spend a week with my dad I asked her again. She told me no, and then she said that the only way that she was ever going to let me get it done was if my dad took me and I paid for it. So I called my dad and he said that if she said that, then he would take me. YAY! The only problem was, I didn't know where I was going to get the money. When I told my mom that my dad was going to take me, she said that I wasn't allowed and that she had only said that to be a smart ass to me. Oh well, I was going to do it anyways.

The next day I went with my dad to his house, and my cousins came in from florida. My aunt (who is also my god-mother) pulled me aside and handed me $40 for no reason. But that was exactly how much I needed! So that problem was solved!

For the next week, I bothered my dad everyday asking him when he was going to take me. He told that he would take me at the end of the week (Saturday). So the week went by really fast, because I went to a party every night.

So, Saturday rolls around, and my dad comes to pick me up at my aunts house (I stayed there the night before). I ran home and got a quick shower and then we were off!

Originally I had wanted to go the same place that I had gotten my navel pierced, but my piercer was having a baby and it was too long of a drive from my dads house. So I decided to go to a Tattoo parlor right down the street from my dads house, Z Spot! And I'm really glad I did, because the people there are really cool and nice! I got there and paid for my piercing, it cost me $35.35. It was a buy one get one free day, and I asked my dad if I could get something else too, but he said no. Oh well.

So after waiting for 10 minutes, Dave, took my dad, my sister, and ME! back to room that he would pierce me in. He told me to sit down in the chair, it was alot skinnier than the ones they usually have (like the ones at the dentist). As he got out all of the equipment, he explained what he was going to do. I'm not going to lie to you, I was scared. Everything was really clean and he switched gloves often, and everything came out of new packages. Then he told me to turn my head to the right (I was getting it in my left ear) and that he was going to put the clamps on. The clamps didn't hurt that much, but they hurt more than the clamps they use to do your navel. Then he told me that he was about to put the needle through, I felt the pressure, but as long as I consentrated on my breathing it wasn't bad at all. The most painful part was after he put the ring in and he cleaned it out with some spray stuff, that stung really bad.

So far, its been really easy to take care of, I just clean it whenever I'm in the shower, with some antibacterial soap and a Q-Tip.And I could sleep on it after the first couple of days. I would reccommend this piercing to anyone, its really cute on girls, and it looks good on guys too. I know I love mine! Even though it's really far away, I'm getting a tattoo for my 18th birthday, my dad already said yes! I'm not allowed to have anymore piercings, but nobody said anything about tattoos! :-p
