Well today was my wonderful, long awaited 18th birthday. I applied for a credit card, bought some lotto tickets and a pack of cigarettes, and of course, I had to get pierced. I would have gotten my nipples but I'm going to San Diego in 2 days, living in the dorms at san diego state university, and I didn't wanna have to deal with salt soaks on my boobs while I'm living with strangers. So instead, I got my lovely anti tragus which I have been looking forward to for sooo long...I've had my nose done for 3 years now, and I knew I needed to get something on the other side of my body to balance it out. I've been staring at the pictures on bmezine non stop, and reading all the stories; some say it hurts like a bitch, others say they didn't feel it. I was scared shitless...

So I had lunch with my dad, then I came home and kicked Stacey's ass outta bed so I could go get this over with. She took like an hour to get ready but we were finally on our way. I wanted to go to this one place in orangevale where all body piercings are $30, but they're always closed so I went to the Lil Tattoo Shop where I already had my ears pierced once before. Of course when I got there, the guy was tattooing this chick so he told me to come back in an hour. So Stacey and me walked across the street to the starbucks where I work and chilled for awhile. We went back in like 45 minutes, but he had already gotten done with that other girl and had started on another one, so I got to wait like 15 minutes. It was so horrible, I had heard so many horror stories and I just wanted to get this over with. While I was waiting, the girl that worked there gave me my paperwork to fill out, and I was all psyched that I could check the stupid little box that says "I'm 18" haha...then I showed her my ID and the guy brought me back. He picked out a hella fat ring, like a ¾" diameter, and even though I didn't like it, I decided to just deal with it. He kept fiddling around with stuff and I was getting more and more scared, and he finally marked my ear and had me check it...it was beautiful!! I sat down and he called Stacey over to hold the clamps for him, but thank god he didn't have her rubberband them or anything, she was just holding it down so he had a good angle. He pulls out this fat 14g curved needle and I close my eyes, bracing for the horrid pain everyone on here says happens...and suddenly he's stabbing the needle through my ear, and he must have hit a really soft spot because there was no crunch, no popping, it just slid right through. It barely even hurt. After he was done and turning around to grab the jewelry, I was like "that's it??? That was so pussy!! Everyone makes this sound so much worse!" but of course I spoke too soon, because everyone knows the jewelry is the real pain, and so he starts jerking my ea °>ÃwŒë r around, and shoving the damn jewelry in, making jokes about how I probably want to kick him in the nuts for screwing with my ear like this haha. So he gets the jewelry in, and I look at it in the mirror and immediately fall in love. Afterwards I had to drop Stacey off at her work, and I went to Trader Joe's to pick up some of the awesome lavendar soap that did wonders for my bellybutton after I went swimming in the river while it was healing (whoops) but they only had the nasty peppermint stuff so I had to settle on some cheap generic dial. I came home and lubed it up with some soap lather and tried to spin it through the hole, and it seriously won't budge. It hurt so bad just pulling on it. I salt soaked it for a little while and decided to just try again in the shower tomorrow morning. Hopefully it's just because I just got it done and it's not screwy or anything...

Well besides the big stupid looking ring, this piercing is so awesome, and I love how no one has it. There's only like 10 pages of pictures on this site, and I've only seen one other person with it. I can't wait to change out to a cute little cbr with a blue ball to match my 2g plugs. And if this is seriously the most painful ear piercing, I can't wait to get my rook done!!!

Ps. You can check out the picture of it on the anti tragus page...I'm the only one with a big goofy looking CBR haha...
