I was looking through sites and I came across the Snug piercing it got me interested because first of all no one I knew had it and second of all it looked interesting. I didn't have many piercing on my ears only two standard holes on each ear and none in the cartilage so I thought an ear piercing would be a good idea considering I didn't find ears hurt at all. I thought it over well and decided to ask the parents. They weren't ok and didn't give approval for my tongue piercing and they did not know yet about my nipple or tattoo at the time. I showed my parents the pictures of the piercing and I let them read the experiences from the other readers and told them it wasn't such a bad piercing. After a couple of days, almost a week of pleading and making promises My mom finally caved in and let me get it. I was so excited I planned to go the next day, with friends or not I wanted it that bad. I was excited and I didn't sleep much. The next morning I called some friends up and decided to go for it. All four of us were excited even though 2 of them found it gross and painful but they liked the idea of originality and It was set on my mind of getting one tried to talk me out of it but didn't succeed as I'm sometimes very stubborn was the only one getting anything done that day.
At A Glance Author Missy Contact angel_xoxo_88@hotmail.com When Three months ago Artist Dan Location Montreal We went Downtown Montreal and looked around and decided to go to the one where I had my nipple done. I had the same guy as last time. I showed him what I wanted He showed me all the possible jewellery for the piercing I picked a barbell and asked about the price, he said 35$. I was surprised it was that cheap but was happy and Impatiently waited out front flipping through some tattoo ideas as I waited for him to get all the equipment ready and sterilize the needles. He came out and said it was ready. I got up and had butterflies in my stomach. Hint of advice always eat before getting a piercing. I didn't eat because I was so excited and had no time. I walked into the room. It looked like a doctors office with an examining table. It was very clean and proper I was then getting very excited. He closed the curtain and my friends stood around this is where we ran into problem number one, He misunderstood which piercing I had wanted so he had to use a Flexi-Barbell instead of a plain metal one. Using the flex-bar would cost more for the piercing he said it would now be 50$.15$ more then expected I wanted the piercing badly and had extra money so I said what the heck lets go for it anyways! I had wanted it so bad I wasn't going to back down. I agreed on the 50$ and then went back into the front and waited for him to get the proper barbell. Time made me more and more excited. I was excited not that nervous. He called me back in and happily I walked in and sat on the table and waited as he looked around for something. This is when problem number 2 happened he didn't have the right scissors at the time to cut the barbell. He apologized so many times and told us to come back in an hour to an hour and a half. A little disappointed I walked out and then we walked to the mall close to the piercing parlour. We shopped around for a while and luckily we picked up something to eat it settled my stomach a bit and I felt a lot more ready. we decided to wait an hour and 15 minutes to be on that safe side, Actually because I couldn' °>ÃwŒë t stand waiting any longer. I walked back into the parlour and Dan had a great big smile on his face and said finally it's time to do this. That's when the nerves really hit. I asked him if I could go smoke a cigarette first he laughed and said sure. The nicotine brought down my nerves but I don't encourage anyone to smoke because of it. I walked back in and finally it was time.
I walked into the room for the 3rd time that day. I sat on the table as instructed and he made 2 dots on my ear with a pen to ask me if that's where I wanted it. I walked over to the mirror, I wanted it a little bit higher. I told Dan that and he fixed the dots and it was perfect. He let me talk to my friends for a while just in case I was nervous. I think they were more nervous then I was. Finally I had enough waiting and told him it was time. I laid down on the table he put paper towel around my ear incase of bleeding and one of those bib things you used at the dentist around my neck. he got placed and everything ready to go I was hoping no more problems would come up and they didn't. He told me to breathe he was going to start pushing the needle through I took a deep breath and felt a pinch it went in slowly so that the piercing was perfect the needle was through and so was the barbell it was the beads that were the hardest part. Thank god no blood. The beads kept falling in my ear or in my shirt. Finally the beads were on and I got up to look. I got up a little too fast and got a bit dizzy and sat back down. Dan made sure I was ok and made me wait to get up again. I went and examined the piercing in the mirror and was so happy all the fuss was so worth it. Dan was so impressed of the piercing he took pictures of it and brought me around the shop to show off his good work. I went to the cash and paid him he talked to me about aftercare and told me to used Lens-plus contact lens cleaner on a Q-tip 3 times a day. I was on cloud nine I thanked him again and walked on out of there. It was only burning a bit but I was too happy to notice. I walked into the pharmacy and bought the Lens-plus and then went to go show off my piercing to some friends. So many people ask a lot of questions about it the most common ones are "Oh my god didn't that hurt" and "how do they do that not going through the back" a lot of people love it and for the ones who don't I don't care because I do. The night I got it done was a bit diffic °>ÃwŒë ult to sleep but I took some Tylenol changed sides then how I usually sleep and it was fine. It's the most beautiful thing ever and still puzzles people. That's what I love most about it, Not a lot of people have seen it before and no one I know has it. I find it just makes it more special to me that way. If anyone wants to get this piercing I'd highly recommend it I wont lie it does hurt but the pain is Defiantly worth the trouble. I love it
