Well here's a little bit of info about me, Im 15 years old and im a freshmen in highschool. I've been intrigued with body piercings ever since I got my helix done. But all my other piercing have been done by guns at claries and I heard that wasn't the best thing to do so I was scared about my first piercing done by a needle.

Well since im not exactly a twig I didn't want to have my navel pierced until I was totally happy with my body figure(im not saying im fat or anything im just not at the point where I wanna show of my body because im shy) , and my mom didn't want me to get the eyebrow done because she doesn't like it and wouldn't sign for it, so we agreed to tragus. I wanted it since about January. So I went on B.M.E. and looked at pictures and stories and finally decided I was gonna do it. I asked people who had theirs done how bad it hurt and they said not bad. I already had my helix, and a first and second hole in my lobes, so I was looking for something a little more enough just loved the way the piercing looked and I have a high tolerance for pain so I said sure why not? I was so happy about getting it I couldn't wait till my mom would take me.
Well it got push back because my dad passed away and everything went to hell from that. And I was a mess and I just wanted to wait. But my mom wanted to get a tattoo of my dads name and a heart for his memory. I looked up piercing and tattoo parlors and decided on Ink slingers of centerline because I've heard good reviews.
My mom called them and told them she wanted a tattoo and I want to get my tragus pierced. he said my piercing would be $45 with jewelry so I said that's a deal from what I heard some places charged. So we went there and my mom talked to Tom (the piercer and tattoo artist)and asked him if everything was sterile and if she was gonna get AIDS from it because she was scared .After he did my moms tattoo it was time for me to get my tragus pierced I was excited yet nervous.
I decided on getting my right tragus pierced. That's the side I have my helix on. He cleaned my ear with alcohol or something I forgot sorry and then he put a cork behind my tragus and said "Okay were almost ready"and I was like "are you serious?!"and he said it would only take a second and then he had the needle and he said "Alright here we go" and he just pushed it though halfway and he said"How are you so far?"and I answered.."okay.."and then he pushed it though the rest of the way .I did hear the crunch noise. And I have to say that that was by far the most painful piercing I have ever had. It was a sting and a pain hard to describe. My mom watched and she said it looked more painful then the tattoo. Then he put in a 16G sliver captive ball hoop and cleaned my ear again. He gave me the aftercare instructions. And he said I did a great job because I didn't even move or flinch. He didn't use any clamps or anything. And it only took like 5 seconds. It was really sore the re st of the day but it looks great. It didn't bleed either! I read a lot of stories that said it didn't hurt at all but mine hurt like a bitch but it was bearable mean I didn't cry so it wasn't that bad.
Its sore when I move it but I've been cleaning at least 3 times a day with sea salt and its crusting up a little and I heard when it crusting its healing. I hope my body accepts it, because it looks awesome!
I've been maybe thinking if I get another piercing I might either get my left tragus or my rook done or an Industrial..im still not sure..
Its been a week and its still sore and little swollen but its healing fine .I recommend Ink slingers of Centerline to anyone in Michigan looking for a good piercer or tattoo artist...Plus tom is really cute and the staff is really nice. I love my tragus piercing and im so happy I went though with it and I say to anyone thinking of getting it done to just do it. the pain last only a second but the beauty of the piercing lasts a lifetime
