Well basically, I decided last Saturday that I wanted to pierce my ears again, because it is sort of fun for me. I actually like the throbbing hotness for some reason, and I like the feeling I get before I get one. I like the Adrenaline of it all. I am obsessed with collecting earrings, and I bet if I could, I would buy out the entire earring selection of Claires and Icing. I also like Hot Topic and Torrid's selection, but I am disgusted by what they have done with most of the clothes there. I like the old Hot Topic, but thats getting off topic.

I have 2 earlobe piercings I got at Claires, which didn't hurt almost at all. I have had the bottom one for about 5 months, and the second one for about 4 months. I got pissed off when I found out not only do I have to have parents permission, I have to have a state ID in Texas to get a cartilage piercing...which no one ever told me. So instead I got them at home, because I didn't have a ride at the time to the ID licensing place. I have 2 cartilage piercings by my friend Cali on the top of my ears, the pain wasn't as bad as I thought it would be at the time, but it was bad none the less. The pain was worst than it should have been, because I got both of them done at the same time, out of no patience. Piercing the same area 2 times is not only more painful, but more hard to take care of. That is also risky and I would never recommend it to anyone.
My best friend Cali came over, and since she basically knows everything about piercing, and has done her own labret, cartilage, lobes, and that piercing inside of her ear (forgot the name of it) I was going to have her do another one on me. I already had the 2 lower lobes done at Claires, and another one of the cartilage on top of my ears that was still healing done by Cali. I didn't have a state ID at the time, so since it was just a ear piercing I thought it would be ok. That is another thing, I'm not encouraging you to do the same by any means, because I am taking a big risk for doing it, but I do make sure they stay very clean and I will only do ear piercing at home and anything else will be by a professional. After all there has been some people who have had wierd things happen to their ears, more likely to get an infection, and usually not very accurate. I trust Cali and she does her's perfectly, so I let her do it.
This is how it all happened. I was sitting on a stool in my kitchen while Cali and I laugh at happytreefriends.com, and after a while we just starting surfing around the net. I just randomly suggested she should pierce my ears again, and she agreed. So, we went upstairs and I sat on my bed while I waited for Cali, who was sitting at my dresser table getting some sharp earrings ready. First she cleaned them off with some left-over Claires anti-septic. Then she told me to clean my ears with anti-bacterial soap and water, then with the anti-septic. I was kind of scared at the time, so I starting talking to waste time. Cali, who got extremely bored of this, just all of a sudden, with a few pops, stuck one in. I yelled a little because it hurt a lot. Then came the hot throbbing feeling. Then the other ear was done, but this time I just let her do it, because I wanted to get it done. That was it. It wasn't all that bad, sure it hurt like 10 times more than an earlobe piercing, but I got over it. The stopped throbbing after about 3 hours. I had to sleep on my back and try not to roll over, so I wouldn't hurt myself. I woke up in the morning, cleaned them, and all was good.
About one week later, the pain went away completely. I keep them clean, and I still have them. I do take them out to clean them and clean my ears but then I put a new, clean earring in. They don't bleed, but I heal fast, so its very unwise to take them out early like I do, unless you are a fast healer like me. I keep my earrings in at all times so they don't grow back. Even though I heal quickly, I grow skin back overnight. I know this because I have had 2 unsuccessful earlobe piercings about 3 years ago. Anyways, just be safe doing piercings. Make sure you find a trust worthy parlor that will do it for a reasonable price, and if done by a friend, it should be done so by your own risk. Overall, I would say I had a great experience with them so far. I am very happy with them, and glad I did it.
