Well my mom and step dad don't really like the whole piercing thing, especially my step dad but my mom on the other hand likes some piercings. Well my mom has already let me get my nose,navel(which rejected two times)my cartilage and my second holes in my lobes pierced. Well ever since I had got my last piercing which was my nose pierced back in June of 2003 I had been wanting another piercing.

I was upset but I still wanted another piercing but I didn't know what to get. I asked my friends what I should get and they all said to get my third holes in my lobes but thats not what I really wanted
Well one day I came here to BME and was looking at all the piercings to get done on you're ear and I fell in love with the Rook piercing. I knew right then thats what I had to have. Well I told my dad that I wanted my rook pierced and he said he would take me to get it done. Well the week before christmas when I went to my dads it just so happened that his new wife and my four sisters were with him so he couldn't take me to get it done.
My dad said that he would come back the next day to pick me up and get my rook pierced but the next day he never showed up. Well when my mom found out that my dad didn't show up she said to tell my dad to send me the money and she would take me to get my rook pierced but I couldn't let my step dad find out about it. So for christmas I went back home which is in Durham North Carolina and I had got $20.00 from my aunt and I already had $5.00 of my own. So I got my grandma to trade me a $5.00 for $20.00 so then I would have enough for my piercing (the piercing is $35.00).
Well as soon as me, my mom and my step dad got back home on the Saturday after Christmas my mom took me to get my rook pierced. Before me and my mom went to Anythings Possible we had to go to Walmart to pick up a few things then we were off to Anythings possible. When we got my anythings possible the piercer Jason asked us what he could help us with and my mom said to get my rook pierced. Well he didn't know how the lady that usually gets all the forms to be signed how she went alone with doing that so me Jason and my mom talked. Jason had asked me how my navel was doing since he knew I was having a few problems with it. I told him that I had to take it out cause it was starting to reject.
Well just as we were talking about that the lady that does all the paper work for getting a piercing came in and she had my mom and we sign to get my rook pierced. Jason told us to sit down for a few minutes and he would be back out to get me. As I sat there I got really nervous. Well finally Jason calls us back to the room and he has me sit down on the doctor bed type thing. He asked me what ear I wanted my rook pierced and I told him my left and then he marked a place for it to be pierced. I checked the placement and told him it was find. Next he cleaned off my ear then put the clamp on which really hurt. Then he told me to take a deep breath in and the to let it out and he pierced my rook. I head a popping sound as the needle was coming out the other end.
Jason quickly put the cbr in and told me to get up and check it out. Well I was feeling a little sick and he could tell so Jason told me to lay back for a little while and kept asking me if I was okay.While I was laying down me and Jason talked about my navel rejecting and he told me to come back in four months and he would pierce my navel free of charge. When I felt better I got up and went to look at my new Rook piercing and I loved the way it looked on me. I went out the room and back to the front to pay for my piercing. When I got back in the car my mom took me to get something to eat. When I got back home I was hoping that my step dad wouldn't notice it and he didn't.
Well its been almost a week and my step dad has not noticed it yet but if he does I will just tell him that my dad took me to get it done.
