Two weeks ago I had my navel done and one week ago I had my clit hood done. Now was the turn for my ear.

I had wanted my Tragus done for a little while now, but did not have the money to have it done at the same time as the other piercing. I also think that it is not good for the body to have more than one piecing done at the same time.

I had seen a few pictures of the Tragus and thought that it looked so cute. As always, I had done my homework about the piercing. I looked into the pain aspect, which is really important for a wimp like me. I also checked out if it needed to be cleaned the same way as my other piercing and the price. I did not even bother looking for other piercing places, I knew that Sarge at Metal Fatigue was the only one I would allow to put me in that big black chair of his.

So one morning, when I decided to change the jewellery in my naval I thought that it was time to have my Tragus done.

Once more, I climbed the stairs of Metal fatigue and Sarge was there as usual, looking more like a 19th Century doctor in his black suit. This always makes me smile.

He asked what he could do for me this time around and I asked how much it would cost for my Tragus to be done. He told me the price and I readily agreed. I asked if it would take about the same amount of time to do the piecing as with my naval and my clit hood. Yes was the answer, so I felt quite happy about this. He also said that there should not be any blood, which I was also happy about. There is nothing worse than having a great piercing done and then it looks mangy with crusting blood around it. (Not that it has ever happened to me mind you, but I have seen people with horrid ears. They should of gone to Metal Fatigue).

Up I jumped onto the 'dentists' chair and got ready. I had an idea of what he was about to do, but was good as always. He talked to me as he had done on the other occasions, explaining the process as he went. I said to him, let me know when to hold my breath. He said that he would tell me before he did anything.

He cleaned his hands and put the rubber gloves on. Then he came over and swabbed my ear with cleaning fluid. All the while my faithful husband watching intently at the 'operating' end. Then Sarge said, 'right are you ready'? I said I was and closed my eyes and held my breath.

The needle was pushed in more slowly than in the naval or hood and I felt the cartilage of the Tragus being pushed aside. It took about 2 seconds. That was the most painful part. Then the jewellery was placed in the hole and the ball of the ring tightened up. I didn't squeak, but boy did I feel it! I am glad that I was laying down. After getting up and looking onto the mirror, I was it was the prettiest little ring ever and the little pain I felt was worth it. I rewarded Sarge with another hug of victory and of thanks for a very fine piecing and felt very proud of my little Tragus ring, dangle there all so sweetly and elegantly.

It has now been 7 hours since I have had it done and I do not even feel that I have a ring there. I am very careful not to bash it or wipe my hair past it by accident, as like all ear piercing, it is a little sensitive being that it is a fresh piercing.

If you have had your naval or clit hood done, you would know that a little piece of skin gives, if anything, just a 1 second of sharp pain and then it is all over. If you have never had any piercing done and the Tragus is the first, you may find that, like me, it is the most painful one as the needle must pass through the tough cartilage rather than a small amount of thin skin. It IS worth it, so if you have any doubts always ask as many questions as possible and ask for the most truthful answers. There is nothing worse than asking how it will feel and then finding out is really painful. Of course the other side to this is if you go in thinking that it may be a bit painful and it doesn't really hurt you feel euphoria like me.

I now have a great Winter solstice present for myself. I am still grinning like a Cheshire cat when I see my ring.

Good Yule !
