First I would like to say that I have had a few things pierced. I have my right nostril pierced, 8g lobes, navel, and a 14g GUN pierced helix. By far this one hurt the worst. I thought I had a high tolerance for pain until now, but I'm glad I got this done. The pain is worth it

I first started liking industrials about 5 months ago. I kept admiring the pictures on BME and wondering if I would ever be allowed to get it done. I asked my mom, and she said no. I argued with her because it's just an ear piercing. Still I lost.

I kept looking at the piercing online. I then forgot about it for awhile and I knew my birthday was coming up. I figured if she wouldn't let me get my ear pierced, I would go and get my tongue done without her permission. My plans for that fell through, and then I asked my mom to sign for me to get my tongue done.

She of course said no way, then the ear piercing didn't seem like a bad idea. So for my birthday my mom was going to take me to La'Rox to get this industrial. She said that she didn't want to go back with me, and I got a friend to go with so that I had someone there to *comfort* me!! HA. Big no, the policy was that my mom had to go back there with me.

I went to the place and filled out tons of paperwork and stuff. It was tedious and the guy that was guiding us through the paper work was a total spaz. My friend and I looked at jewelry for me to use, because they would initially pierce with a 14g hollow needle and put in 14g cbr's. I picked out regular silver rings with little crystal beads. So now I'm sitting in the waiting area and looking at tattoos while my mom is saying *are you sure you want to do this?* *I don't like this* *I don't want to go back there with you*, things like that. I was looking at really cool tattoos and then Nikki called me back.

I sat down on her little desk thingy, and she prepared everything to pierce me. I was really nervous for some reason. Maybe because the guy at the counter was all like *this WILL hurt*. (thanks, dude) But anyway, she pulled out everything right in front of me from it's package. I could really tell the place was clean. The needle looked huge, I was like holy cheese. This will definitely hurt. She left the room for like two seconds, to grab a receiving tube from another "cubical." When she came backs he was ready to shove that big thing in my ear.

1...2...3..the first one is in. Wow, that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. She put the cbr in, and left the bead off. Then she did the next one. Ouch! That one hurt ten times worse...but it wasn't like I was going to die or anything. She put the other cbr in and started to clean the blood off a little. My first hole wouldn't stop bleeding! She kept asking me if I was on antibiotics or anything. I was saying *no, why?* I was bleeding down my hooded sweatshirt. Whoa....then after using q-tip after q-tip she put the beads on, only to find out they were the wrong ones. She said it wasn't a problem she would just change them. I felt like a doofus and said sorry for being a pain in the ass. She was really nice about it and said she was the same way. So after I got pierced my mom saw a picture that was on Nikki's mirror, of one of my mom's ex employees. So my mom was talking to Nikki, and then my ear was throbbing so I went out to show my friend.

Nikki told me to come back in 6-9 weeks and we could check up on it, to see if I could get the barbell in. I am supposed to clean it with super high powered ear care stuff twice a day. Right now it is cool...and it's only a little bit sore. I think that I accidentally rolled over on it when I was sleeping last night, but it's really not a problem. I hope to get more done in my ears, because yes, it does hurt but it is tolerable. I will definitely go back to Nikki if I want my orbital. She was cool and helpful. So if you are in the Akron area I recommend La'Rox. I have been to three different piercing parlors since I started getting things done to myself. La'Rox was the cleanest, and most helpful. They also have a lot of kick ass jewelry. Just make sure that you have your parent sign for you because they will catch you!! Good day, and pierce away.
