Well, where do I begin? I guess you could say I have a love of piercing's even though I've never really had any. I have had one lobe done about 5 years ago in a mall at some little jewelry place done of course with a gun. It didn't hurt to bad and I thought that was all I would ever have done. About a year after that I started going to art school in Boston and met a lot of friends that were all pierced and tattooed and ever since then I've always wanted to do more but never got up the courage until this day.

I had the day off and so did one of my friends so we decided to go into town and walk around all day. While driving into the city in the mourning I had already been thinking about getting pierced but I never told my friend, we went out to lunch and then headed over to Harvard Square to go shopping.

So while were out shopping I decided to check out the piercing studio nearby, I had never heard any stories about it but I had seen the shop before and I have read like 1000 stories from here on bme to keep an eye out what to keep an eye out for to see if the place is good or not. So we went inside the studio and it was rather busy but I was able to look around and see some books of pictures of what they had done before and that made me feel better that they had done like millions of piercing before so I figured they had known what they were doing.

I headed up to the counter and starting asking prices and they took a look at my ear and said that they would pierce it twice (obviously) and would do it with two separate cbr's Rather than the barbell and wait till they heal to put the barbell in. So I heard that, it is done that way before so I said ok and paid my money. They said they were kind of busy and it would be a 45-minute wait so I said ok.

Now I had heard that when your getting two piercing done at one time that after the first needle goes threw that your blood sugar drops and that's why the second one hurts more. So I decided to go grab a coke figuring that would help, little did I know I should be drinking orange juice, I found that out later. So while waiting the 45 minutes I figured I must have smoke like 5 cigarettes. Man was I nervous. My plams were already starting to sweat.

O.K. its piercing time. They started calling my name so I knew it was time to go. I went in and sat down and Jean told me about the piercing and the aftercare instructions. She got the first needle ready and told me to breath in and breath out. .Damn !! That hurt, but not as bad as I had thought it was going to. I started to get a little light headed but that happens to me all the time when im at the dentist out when I got my tattoo. She asked if I was ok and told me what happens with endorphens and how thry rise and fall so fast when getting piercied, she told me that some orange juice would help me, so she had my friend run next door and grab some then i chugged it down and i started to feel better but She had me lay down on the table and waited till I was ready to do the second one. She asked if I wanted to wait to sit up or do it while I was laying. I said go for it. Before I knew it the second one was on and the rings were threw. The second one did hurt more but still wasn't as bad as I had thought it was going to. So then I sat up put on my hat and got ready to go. I wasn't sure how much to tip the piercer but I always tip more than I should anyways plus she was real cute and cool so I handed her a $20 and got on my way.

It's been almost a month now and I have been cleaning it everyday so I haven't had any problems and I don't think I will. I've had all the normal crusties but if you wash proberly you won't have a problem . Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Next on my list of to do 's is my nipples. I have to go get the courage up to do that now. ......
