I started stretching my ears when I was 17. I really liked how stretched ears looked and how you could take a horrible gunned ear hole and make it into something beautiful. I probably got the idea from BME, which is where I found lots of websites to buy jewelry. So I did a lot of research, which became a habit in the future when I got more mods, and read lots of experiences. I found out a lot of information from other people's experiences, which is the main reason I wrote an experience for all the other mods I did. I never really considered this as big of a mod as, say, my septum or industrial, but when I thought about it, I realized that this is much more of a mod than either of those. So I am just now writing about it, at the ripe old age of....20.

I put the 14g ones in my ears myself and got someone(I forget who) to put in the 10g. On my birthday, my mom actually let me get some 8g CBB. I was really happy. The same person who put in my 10g put in my 8g. So I had those in for a long time. It hurt too. My ears did not look pretty. I did it way too fast. So when I for 6g flesh tunnels, it was much better. They slipped right in and felt snug in my ear. I wore those for a long time, too. I really like how you could see through them. It was the first time I really appreciated what I was doing with them.
So then I got some 3g circular claws, the ones they sell here on BME. I had to slowly work those in. It didn't look too pretty, either, but eventually, after about a week, they both went in. Once my ears got used to the 3g really well, I started to take them out and clean them(obsessively, you might say) and I was feeling my ear and I could touch my other finger THROUGH my ear! It was an awesome feeling. It was the second time I really liked stretching my ears and a milestone.
After a while of having the 3g in, I made some plugs out of electrical tape wrapped around a toothpick. So I kept adding a little tape to it every other day and I finally got my Bic pens in. It was incredible. :) The first time I actually put something that we use everyday in them. (Besides making wire hanger earrings. Hehe.) I cut off little sections of the pen and put each in my ear. So those were in for a while. They made people really ask a lot about my ears. Then I started to put more electrical tape on them. I'm on my second complete wrap around of the tape. I'm somewhere between 2 and 3 gauge, according to the sheet my roommate printed out. I should measure them now. I'm working towards some glass earrings my friend gave me. I'm not sure what gauge they are either. They are really pretty, but I sure did use a lot of Neosporin.
I regret rushing some of my stretches because my right ear is significantly harder to stretch than my left one, I think a combonation between just skin differences and scar tissue. I'm going to start putting vitamin E on it to try to lessen the scar tissue. I know now to take it much slower, which is why I add electrical tape to it every couple of days instead of shoving something into my ears. I used to think that the pain of it was normal, now I know it isn't. It should hurt for a little, but not for days.
So I really like my ears. I appreciate the attention they get if the people really listen to my response to "Did that hurt?!?" If they are just flabbergasted and don't care about anything but the digustingness of my ears, fuck them. So I'm rude. But if they care, I explain.
I can't wait to put my glass earrings in. I'll probably put a picture of my earrings when I can get ahold of my roommate's digital camera. My iam name is Lupychica. Look me up. I'm going to try to put some more pictures of my septum and industrial on there. I have my septum experience up, but I can't find my industrial one to put it up.....so if you see it, please tell me!!! I'll put a special mention for you on my site. :)
