Well hello everyone!! This is my cartlidge piercing experience. I was contemplating on what kind of piercing I should get when I was talking to my girlfriend, I had decided to get my tongue, or my eyebrow, but I ended up settling for the cartlidge on my left ear. I had got it done before with a gun and I didn't really like it. (I used to have 3 lobes done in my left, 2 in my right and my cartlidge on the left plus my eyebrow, but that's a different story.

I actually thought that getting my tongue or eyebrow (for the second time) would have been great, but due to my working conditions, I was unable to get any visible facial piercings (i.e. eyebrow, nose or tongue) I work in a damn youth centre!! Anyways, feeling ready, since I always take a little time to get ready for my piercings, I finally decided to go get it done a second time. The first time, it didn't work because the damn thing got infected. (long story, DAMN PARTIES) This was about the 29th of June, and right now it's August 1st, figure it out.

So, I took a vacation to go see my brother in Bracebridge, very nice place, and I took a walk up to the Silver Daisy. Very, very clean place, it was like the first piercing place I had ever been too, and the guy was real cool about everything. I walked in, asked him if he did cartlidges, he said: "Yeah" and I was like: "Let's do this". He had asked me an hour before (I had to wait for him to get needles) if I wanted a 16 or a 14 gauge, so I wanted to go 14, just because it's bigger. He layed me down on this kind of hospital bed (it was hard), and told me to just relax. He marked the spot, and after he did this, I looked around just to make sure everything was sterile. I had learnt from looking at the many BME experiences, that I should do that, he took the needle out of a kind of bad, they told me to turn my head (the spot he marked was the same exact spot that I had got my cartlidge done before, so there was some scar tissue) We then talked about the tune on the radio, and in less then 2 seconds, the needle went through...

It pinched a little bit. I was expecting it to hurt, because when I had got it done with the gun, I had heard a nasty crunch and it hurt like a bitch for a week. After that, I waited about 5 seconds for him to insert the captive bead ring and everything was done. This guy had a little bit of a hard time screwing the ball on, and plus it was pinching so it hurt a weebit, but other than that, everything went fine. I walked to the front counter, gave the guy his money, he talked to me about all the aftercare, and the walked out. I felt it for about a couple minutes, and then everything was fine.

This guy was really great, and I am hoping that everytime I go there, that he'll be the one piercing. I've heard many stories that the Canadian Red Dragon Studio in North Bay, Ontario is pretty good so I am gonna have to check that one out too. I really hate the way people diss other people with piercings. NO, it's not a fad, and NO, we don't do it to make people happy. We do it for ourselves and only for ourselves, and that's what makes piercees better. We live for ourselves. Hopefully, I maybe wanna stretch my lobes to about a 6 gauge, or maybe get them pierced that way, naaaa....maybe 8 gauge, that would be a little better.

Anyways, it's been four weeks since I got this done. It's still a little tender at times, but that's only because people like to hit it(girlfriend). But everythings good with it. I've developped some scar tissue below the piercing but I don't know why??? Hopefully, I would like to return to the Silver Daisy, get 2 helix piercings, another 2 cartlidge piercings, 3 left ear lobes, 2 cartlidge in my right ear, 2 rings in my right lobes, get a double left eyebrow and maybe double tongue, but that may take some time. Well please contact me if ya's want, email me at ericbela@hotmail.com, and I hope to soon make a webpage on piercing and tattooing cause I'm an artist too. I would also like to ask anyone to email me if they've ever got their helix or tragus pierced, I wanna know how much it hurts. Maybe I'll get my tragus. Hehehe!!!Bye Peeps!!
