Well this is my ear piercing experience...it's probably not very interesting. But you can read on if you want.
At A Glance Author CC Artist I dunno Studio Some Place Location Alberta, Canada I have 3 lobe piercings and a 1 cartilage piercing in my left ear. I had them all done with a gun...that was when I didn't know guns were bad... but lucky me they turned out quite well. I had my first lobe done when I was 8, second lobe when I was 14 third lobe when I was 15, and my cartilage also when I was 15.
My first piercing was my lobe it was back when I was 8 years old. When I got it pierced. My mom didn't really want me to get it but I begged and begged. But finally my best friend had hers pierced so my mom gave in and let me get it done. I have never thought about getting more piercings after that. Then my cousin from Hong Kong came. She had 3 lobe piercings, and I thought they looked pretty cool but I never thought of getting my ears pierced again. Until one day my mom asked me if I would ever get my ears pierced that many times. That was when I thought I would like a second piercing. So I told my mom and suprisingly she let me get it done! I was really nervous in getting this done because I was afraid it would hurt. My mom was going to bring me to her friends house to get it pierced since her friend had all the tools and stuff. But everytime she called either we were busy or she was busy.
So I couldn't wait I told my mom why don't we just get it done somewhere in the mall. So one day my mom drove me to this place. I walked in and I told them i wanted to get my ears pierced. They had us sign this form and then they took me to a chair and I sat down. they asked me to take out the earrings in the first hole. They marked it took out the gun and put the studs in and soon it was done! I was really happy! Soon my mom got her second holes too.
After that about a year later or about half a year...I went to Hong Kong for chinese new year with my dadand, I saw some ppl with some really cool ear piercings and I wanted to get my ears pierced again!
When I came back from Hong Kong. My friends and I were in art class talking about getting our ears pierced... my friend suggested a place where she got her cartilage pierced in the mall...so after school all 3 of us decided to get our ears pierced. We walked in to this hair dressing place and we told them we wanted our ears pierced. They said alright and the took out a whole bunch of studs for us to choose from.
I chose a golden flower stud with a little diamond inside.
But then they took out the wrong design I chose! grr..but it didn't matter the other one was nice too.
So they asked who would go first. I was like I would (so I can it over with). Well they took me to a salon chair and used a pen to mark my ears. When I looked at them they looked quite even. but when they were done I noticed one side was fine but the other side was a bit too close, but oh well. It was only 10 bucks. It's not really that noticeable. So I waited for my other 2 friends. One got her second holes and the other one got a third hole in one ear and a second hole in the other ear, but soon both her holes closed up. But she went back and got a hole in the middle of her right ear. It looks pretty cool.
But now back to my story! After a year later or maybe like 8 months or so. I wanted to get my cartilage pierced...my mom doesn't like me getting too many piercings in my ears. So she didn't really allow it. So I decided to go back to the salon where I had my third holes done. I chose a small silver stud and they pierced it...I was really happy and satisfied with it. But stupid me I took it out the second day it was done and I couldn't get it back in. I tried stuffing it in for about half an hour and finally it was in! I was so scared I was gonna lose the hole already. My mom found out after a week but she didn't really say much. I was lucky my cartilage piercing healed properly. It did hurt to sleep on that side of my ear for a while. But I've changed the earring now to a 16 gauge silver CBR, and it's perfectly fine.
I never really knew guns were bad to pierce any where else besides your lobes. Until I started looking up stuff about piercings because I wanted my belly button pierced. I have been wanting my belly done for about a year now...but I probably won't get it done ne time soon...because I got no money
But I know I'm gonna get my navel done once I have money! because my friends told me about this place where they pierce that's really good in calgary it's called Symbols of Strength (SOS), and that's probably where I'm gonna get it done!
