Hey!!!!!!!! Whats up people?? First I will tell you that I'm 14.. Well I just went and got my tragus pierced yesterday! It took me forever to talk my mom into it (even though she already let me get my belly button done and a tattoo if you want to read my experience on my tattoo its called A NEW ADDICTION A TATTOO AT 13.) I still havent gotten why she will let me to all of this yet not my tongue or my eyebrow...but thats another story :o)

!1 WEEK BEFORE GETTIN PIERCED!
Ok I had been asking my mom every day to go up to Cowboy's and get my tragus pierced but she had to be a b*tch and say no all the time. So she said that if I was gonna do it it had to be on Sunday (cuz I had a dumb choir thingy on Saturday...) So I waited for Sunday...
!!!!!!DAY OF PIERCING!!!!!!! (4-22-01)
Ok I woke up and I was really really excited I could barely sleep the night before. So I waited around the house till 12:30 because they open up at 1 and it takes about 30 min to get there. So we got up there and I was hoping that the cute guy was up there, that had pierced his own tragus..but he wasnt :*( But I had the other guy who did my belly button do my tragus and he is COOl too. Well he ask what I wanted done and I said that I wanted to get my tragus pierced and he said "cool" and he gave my mom and I some papers to fill out and stuff...So I filled them out and gave him my ID and he went off and made a copy of them..Then he brought me back to the "piercing room" and I sat on the chair, and he put the little dot on there and asked if that is was I wanted and I told him yup...So he put the clamp on and It hurt a bit. Then he got out the needle and put the ointment or whatever on it..and told me to breathe in and let it out when he said to, and I did this 3 times and on the third time he pushed the needle through. OMG!!!!!!!!!!! It hurt and I was like damn!! Everyone had told me it didnt hurt. THEY LIED!!!! :o) But I kept a straight face the whole time though, so I am proud of my self for that! :o) It took him awhile to get the loop through my tragus..he said that I have some thick cartilage(sp??) there and I was like umm ok. ( I mean what do you say to someone who says that,??) Well anyways, he finally got it through, put the ball on and I paid him 35 dollars, and left. I then went to go and pick up my friend and then my dumb ball fell out of the loop and I couldnt get it back in so I had to go all the way back up there so he could put it back in, and he did and he said that it wasnt gonna move this time!
~AFTERCARE~
Well I am supposed to clean it 2 times a day with dial soap..and thats basically it. But I am takin some vitamins to help out the healing process.
~Questions and Answers~
Q: Does it hurt????
A: YES!! All piercings have some pain...DUH!!!
Q: What is the purpose of the vitamins??
A: They say that they speed up the healing process, and I guess I'll find out soon enough.
Q: What vitamins are you taking??
A: I am taking vitamins C and Zinc or if your wanting to take them (cuz it helps all the piercings heal better/faster or whatever just get a good antioxidant...mines called Protegra.
Q: Why do you get body modifications???
A: Because they are just something that I want, and it just feels sooo cool to get piercings and tattoos..its like a rush. :o)
~After the piercing~
It has been one day since I have had it pierced and it is really sore and stuff....and everyone at school keeps asking me if it hurt I'm like if a needle goes through your skin dont you think it will hurt??? I really need to buy that shirt in BME's shop that says "Yes IT Hurt" cuz thats all I get asked for all of my body modifications!!! But I just get used to it.
