My name is Lynn and I am soooo addicted to piercings. I go to college at the University of Central Oklahoma, and I'm a dancer. My husband and I plan on sending our pics. in really soon. I started getting my piercings when I was sixteen. I got my navel first, and then my nipples. When I was seventeen,I got my tragus, tongue, and rook. I just finished stretching my tongue. I'm going to stop at 2g. That's okay, because it hurts really bad to stretch it.
At A Glance Author Lynn Contact diskoqueen1@yahoo.com Artist Amy Studio 23rd St. Body Piercing Location Oklahoma City, OK This year, I plan on getting the bottom of my navel, my conch, and my monroe. Then, I'll finish up my masterpiece by getting my tattoo on my lower back and getting my cartilage pierced all the way up my ear, starting just above the conch. To be honest, I'm really scared to get my conch done, but I think the lower navel and monroe will be easy. I've wanted my monroe for about four years, but I can't seem to find a decent paying job around here that will let me have it. I'm also getting frustrated because more and more people are getting it done. One of my friends from high school even got it done; of course, she would have never even heard of it if I hadn't always been blabbing about it.
My favorite piercings are my nipples and my rook. If I were to rank my piercings by pain, I would say least was tongue, then navel, then tragus, then nipples, then rook. My rook hurt so bad, I almost didn't get the second one done. It drives me crazy when people only get one ear pierced or one nipple pierced. I feel compelled to ask them if they just couldn't go through with them both. Since I don't have any facial piercings, my rook and tragus are what people comment on. I've had my rook done for over a year now, and it still gets infected sometimes.
The other day, my friend Sherry pierced my best friend, Laura's navel. We did it this way because Laura is only sixteen and Jeremy and I don't have the (piercing friends' hookups) like we did when I was sixteen. I felt so sorry for Laura, because Sherry put her through so much more pain than she would have went through if she had gone to a professional. For one, the needle was pretty dull, and she dug it through without any clamps. Then, instead of following through with the ring, she took the needle out and fished around in the hole. Laura bled everywhere and almost passed out. Now, she is terrified to get anything else done.
I told her I wanted her to go with me when I get my lower navel done, so she could see that it wasn't that bad if you do it the right way. I remember my navel being pierced and it didn't really hurt at all. Stretching my tongue hurt way more than getting it initially pierced. I remember getting my nipples done a couple of years ago, with Jeremy, who was my boyfriend back then. We just got married last July. I got my nipples two days before he got his and he was actually saying that I was being a baby about it. It hurt bad for about two weeks. When he got his done, he wasn't making fun of me anymore. I've noticed that guys always say it hurts them more than girls to get their nipples pierced because they have more nerve endings in them. I wonder if that's true, or if it's the man's excuse for being big babies.
Jeremy has had many piercings, too. Right now, he has 4guages in his ears and has his nipples. He has had his labret four different times, eyebrow once, and tongue about six different times. He'll take them out for a job, and then get a different job and get them re-pierced. If I get my monroe, I'm not taking it out for anything. The first person that I saw with it was the girl on Coal Chamber. I like it because to me it is the most feminine facial piercing and it isn't very common.
Just a couple of words to all of you out of Oklahoma City, I am so tired of people thinking that 23rd Street is the only good place to get pierced. It is the most popular, but when people tell you that it is the only one that is licensed, or that it is the only one that is clean and sterile, that is bull shit. However, 23rd Street and Tiggers are the only ones that I would trust, because I've been to the other one or two around here. Either one of these places will do a great job. I've gotten pierced at both.
I remember a couple of years back when my mom first got her computer and I found this website. I used to tell Jeremy that I wanted to send in our pics. Obviously, we never got it done. Well, now maybe I can do it. Well, gots to go. Peace!
